Our Baby Boy is 4!

Well the day has come, our little Harry is four. The days of him telling people that he is "three & three quarters", are over...but he is very excited about being four, because he so much older now don't ya' know! :) He says things like, "Because I'm four now, I can do it!". His birthday this year was quite different from years past, and I was a bit nervous. He kept talking about having all of his friends over, and all the kids coming to his party. Well, between the weather and Andy's surgery, it was not going to happen. Instead we had a day of fun with Mama, Daddy, & Nina on his birthday, and Mema & Papa, and G'ma & G'pa came over the day after for a little party. We are going to have a 4 and a quarter party, & end of school year party in the spring. All in all, he had a fabulous birthday, his favorite part was playing games on Saturday with his family, which was a HOOT! We all had a great time, especially playing the cotton ball on the spoon race, that was our favorite. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts and thinking of Harry. He is growing up so fast.

We went to the 'bounce gym' on Harry's birthday. This is where I have my Moms Club meetings and he always wants to go there and play on other days of the month. By coincidence, there was an open gym for us that day, I was very excited for him to be able to do something special that he loves on his birthday.

This year, Andy made Harry's cake instead of me. I think he did a great job! It was a castle bunt cake pan, the frosting did a number on it...it was yummy either way, and Harry loved it.

This was the bozo bucket game, it was not nearly as fun as the cotton ball on the spoon relay race or the rowdy game of soccer...but still was a favorite.

You can see Harry's ribbon, and the water bottle and lock for he backpack or pant loop that he got from Uncle Jeffie. Harry is quite excited to use this in the summer, to use a bottle that looks just like daddy's...Because he is four now! :) Amelia got to open a couple gifts on Harry's birthday too...thank you Mema & Papa, and G'ma & G'pa! She received a princess barbie and little shopping basket full of food, how could you go wrong with those.
She held this pose for a few, so I couldn't resist taking this picture...not sure what she was doing.

Ahh....Harry's new leapster from Mema & Papa. Big hit. But I was proud of him, just as much as he liked that, he loved his new farm set (which included everything but the kitchen sink! Thank you G'ma & G'pa! Hours of fun.), & his new trucks just the same.
Harry's cake! He started talking about Nina's beautiful cake that she had on her birthday earlier in the week. Word got to Mema, and she was on the case and on the horn trying to find something just as good for Harry. She did amazing, Harry loved it!

This is such a cool truck! You take it all apart and put it back together with the drill and 3 different bits it came with. You even flip a switch on the drill for which direction you are doing things, just like daddy's. We were amazed at how quickly he picked up on it and just matter of fact switched his drill to put something on or take it off. I guess we shouldn't have been...after all he is FOUR now! :)
