I love fall!

As I say a lot...there are quite a few pictures here. ;) I had a Dr. appointment and Andy was not feeling well. So, Papa stopped by with dinner (Chopsuey! Yum!) and took the kids out to play in the leaves (Also gave the fabulous leaf blower a go...fabulous!). I got home just in time to snap some shots, and boy they turned out cute. Even got a couple good ones of Harry, as usual he is my runner and goofy face boy. Amelia, she still we be still long enough to humor Mama!

Happy Fall!!

Last year she freaked out if there was a dead leaf on her. She didn't understand what they were. This year, we can't get her out of them!

Classic.

...Happy Fall Indeed! :)

Tire-swing fun.

The majority of these are of Amelia on the tire swing out front. She had a blast on it. Hopefully this spring we will have a swing up for her to go back and forth on! :)

Papa was helping make the big bag of leaves spider for decoration out front.

Moving the spider's 'body' with Harry.

One final push from Papa, her favorite thing.

Jollay Orchards Field Trip

Okay. As an admission of mine, I LOVE pumpkin pictures! Since the first ones that were taken of my kids, our first family adventure together...I have fallen in love with the color combination of the big orange balls and the wonderful fall landscape.

I thought I would include some old pictures to show my point. :) I can't believe how big Harry has gotten, so leggy! Harry had a field trip to Jollay Orchards week before last. Jackson Jollay is in Harry's class. What fun. Nina and Mema came along too. Thankfully Mema was there, Harry was all over the place, and my energy tanked there at the end.

He was not quite 2 here.

Family adventure. I know you can't see Amelia, but there she is in the stroller all covered up. She was only a week old!

Ahh, orange delight!

On to the field trip. :)

Harry is in the center with his pillow case tucked under his arm...to be used to carry the pumpkin he picked.

There were farm animals that you could feed. You had to have some change to put into the candy holder to get some feed. Of course, none of us moms had any change on us...plenty of cameras on hand, but no change. :)

Those jeans. He tor a hole in his last good pair of jeans the day before. I didn't have time to go and shop for any. There were a pair that were close to his size at Target for an unbeatable price, I thought, they will do. I had to fold them up twice on the bottom and poor thing, they were falling on his hips the whole time. Good thing he is eating like there is no tomorrow, they will fit in no time! :)

What a great place Jollay Orchards is. They have everything that you could imagine. They are an all season farm, from apples to berries to pumpkins, a fishing pond, haunted house...fun.

Nina had about this same look the whole time. I think she was overwhelmed by all the bigger kids. :) Still had a blast though.

Maybe the chosen one?

See. Same face. :)

Ah-Ha! Found it.

Back on the hay ride.

That is Audrey in the pink. Very sweet story. She is super quiet. Her mom says she doesn't talk to many kids, but Harry, she talks about all the time. Last year when she started school here (her dad is in the Air Force), Harry included her (he had mentioned her one day last year, as the girl that didn't smile, but when she did he liked it) and made sure she was a part of things. That makes a Mama proud! She was looking for Harry to show him her pumpkin that she chose.

There is Mema, holding Nina's pumpkin. As Harry would say, "Jacobs Mama took the picture."

The two Kindergarten classes.

Watching cider be made.

...sitting with the girls.

Nina's hair. Couldn't resist.

And to my excitement. We have not yet picked our pumpkins. Time is running out, so maybe you will see more of my favorite orange balls! I know, you can't wait.

Fall

The first raking of fall. Andy took these pictures. He let the kids outside, a glorious treat! With everyone being so sick and the weather being quite crummy, a treat indeed! Harry rode his car around a couple times then went into the garage and got out the rake. What a big boy! He actually did a great job...he's hired!

In fact, he came running inside, excited as can be, "Mama!! I found your flip flop!!". What?! Yep. I guess the last time we were outside, was at least a month ago and we were playing soccer. I can't believe I forgot my sandals out there. They were very soaked. So, on to the search for the other one, which he found a few minutes later.

****update to the post****

Very exciting news!!! Gma & Gpa just stopped by, and brought my birthday present to me!!! Guess what it was?
A Leaf Blower!!! Yippee!!! Now only if I can get the strength to use it. I told Andy this year he will probably get to do the majority of the work, but next year, WATCH OUT! :) That doesn't mean that I'm not going to give a go, we'll see!

So proud she made it all the way around the driveway. There is a slight incline to the driveway and it has been 'tricky' for her. Way to go Nina!
