An impromptu tea party...

Amelia had taken her little step from the bathroom and brought it out next to the sofa for a little tea party. Harry was very excited about a party and ran & invited some of Nina's friends...Care Bears of course! They were very cute playing together.

Daddy's home, let's have some fun!

Andy was in Orlando for work (yeah...too bad for him to get away from these single digit temps!). We have been very fortunate, up until this point the bulk of Andy's traveling was with his previous company and it was when Harry was too little to remember. The kids did great, the day before he came home they were a bit restless and I knew they were missing their daddy. So Saturday we went to the ice festival downtown. We had a great time. Harry was so funny, he wanted his picture taken in front of each sculpture...I saved all of you and only posted a couple :). They both have really been into wearing their sunglasses lately...too cute! Hope this finds everyone warm and cozy!

A fun family day...

This past Saturday we went to the Curious Kids Museum here it town. The kids had a blast, we were there for about 2 1/2 hours and they had probably another 2 hours in them of exploring. It sure was nice getting out of the house after having to stay inside with all of this horribly cold weather!

This part is too cute! There are "apple tree's" and you pick the apples (red balls) and put them into the sorter, crank the big wheel and it sorts the balls like at an orchard. That conveyer puts the apples back into the tree, and round and round you go. Kids loved it.
This was my favorite part! Amelia loves to slide. Where I go for my moms club meetings there is a slide, but it is not safe for her to climb up into it, so I have to lift her each time. This one she did "ALL by herself!" ...as Nina would say. I was happy to stand there and cheer her on, and say hello each time she was at the top.

A Fun Day in the Snow...

On Saturday we went up to our old stomping grounds in Grand Rapids and visited friends of ours. We went sledding in their back yard...and what a back yard they have! The perfect hill for sledding. Louise, Kate and I stayed inside to watch, so the pictures are a little bit fuzzy, yet we were warm and toasty! Ryan, Matthew, Andy, Harry & Nina all had a blast.

Too bad I don't have a picture of this...but when they first got outside Amelia picked up some snow and looked at Andy and said "Awe Yeah!!!" and threw it at him. I'm not quite sure what she liked more throwing the snow, or eating it.

Amelia, when she was done with her ride kept saying "Again?!", but that was all Andy had in him, he hung in there pretty good!
