Another great field trip.

Maple sugar making at Sarett Nature center. It was a great time. Harry has been looking at all the trees around us looking for a good tree to tap! :)
The pure sap from a tree.

Tapping a tree.

Mema was able to come along to see the maple sugar making. Harry was so happy.

In the early days this is how they made Maple syrup or candy. Those are hot rocks that were put into the log with sap. Repeat that process over and over and you get sugar.

Such concentration on this trip. He was absorbing all the info to report back to daddy.

Thanks, Once again, Uncle Jeffie for the fabulous warm outer wear that you have gotten the kids!!! It was warm in the morning when we left, but it sure got sharp by the end of the day, but Harry was toasty warm. :) Thank you!!!

What a little bean-pole!
