Ughh...Seagulls! Actually they were not nearly as bad as the other beach. We kept all of the food in a big cooler to keep the smell away from the birds as much as possible, and tried to keep Nina on the blanket with her snacks.
Amelia was singing to herself as she was putting sand into the bucket..."Oh, put in, dump in..."Seagull keeping tabs on their favorite visitor :)
Harry ate 2 pbj's! He worked up an appetite in the water and building sand castles!
This seagull tried to hang out behind our cooler. There was actually only this one that hung around on a regular basis, we can handle that!
...there is the seagulls tail...I know...enough seagull already!
Harry and Andy are in the water in this picture, the light area is all the shallow end, the deepest in the area was about a foot, it was a really gradual slope into the lake which was great except Harry wants to go "deeper and deeper!"
We went to the library and the kids loved it. They both got to pick out 3 books, well Harry did, Amelia just pulled books off the shelf and handed them to us. When we got home he went right on the couch and looked at his books. He can't wait to read "all the books!"
