A nice hot summer day. The kids enjoyed their cold treat. Actually, Harry said when I gave them out, "but no one is hurt?". When they fall and hit their mouth that is what I give them, I realized, they should get to have some more of them for treats, not just when someone gets hurt.


We drove home from a play date and Nina fell asleep. We were going to meet Mema & Papa for dinner so I didn't want to put her in her room to finish her nap (which would have been another couple hours the way she was sleeping), so I got out our blanket and had her finish outside. Boy, did that look good. I just wanted to curl up next to her and take a nap myself!
On a side note...this is my first quilt that I made for us. It's for going to the beach, watching fireworks, the park etc...

I saw Amelia doing this out of the corner of my eye..."she's not doing that...". Yep, she was applying ketchup to her lips as lipstick then pushing her lips out. Oh boy.

Such concentration. Mieszko hoping the piece of chicken from dinner falls, Toma not sure if she trusts what's happening, and Amelia, trying to make sure Toma will take it.
Andy's friends stopped by on their way home from visiting up north. The dads gaming with their kids.
For dinner my parents were over...I thought this was too cute, Papa at the kids table.
Great Grandma Zander is in town for 2 months. They all stopped over to bring us some yummy blueberries! Yum. Amelia was out of sorts the whole day, so she was a bit on edge for their visit. Harry loved having his great grandma Zander here.


Andy's pie. He took a picture of it last night...It was a bit entertaining, he wanted to make it with the kids. I think that he had remeasure each ingredient at least twice. I know for sure he had to measure the blueberries 4 times. They all had a good time...and I hear that it was super yummy!
