Skirts, skirts, skirts...

...and more skirts!

So. I ordered a skirt from a boutique party a good friend of mine was having. Got the skirt in the mail. Really liked it. When I pulled it out, I thought to myself....hmmm...I could make these. So I did. Quite a few in fact. Weekend before last I whipped out 9. Well, 7, I have two rows to finish for 2 that I made as gifts, but my sewing machine decided it had had enough. :)

Nina just loves them, which as I have said many many times, makes me one proud Mama. She wears them with leggings, with little shorts, jeans, boots, maryjanes...

They make me smile. Well Nina does, they are just icing.

(wish there were that many things that I could make Harry, girls seem to be easier, or have many more things that you can make for them. I'll have to figure some things out for Harry!)

I set out her first day clothes for school and she wanted to wear one of her new skirts to show her new friends. :) She wore a navy jumper, but has now worn 3 to school so far!

The inspiration skirt is to her right in orange...I measured that one and made one for her.

All done.
Until I found more fabric that inspires me in my craft room. :)

LOVE THE SKIRTS!!! You are so talented. She looks so cute in them and I can see how versatile they are. Ooh, corduroy in the fall and winter! Just a thought ;)
