Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and was able to spend it with family & friends!
Thanksgiving day at Grandma & Grandpas. She was making her own music, playing and singing.
Up close and personal...Those eye lashes....
A treat, an early out-take...This was at Thanksgiving.
So the time has come...a moment that most kids have in their childhood. Nina came up to me and said that Harry was trimming his hair. Yep, big chunk out of the front. Funny thing, he just had a hair cut the night before. The good thing is, it's in an area that can be combed over and you really can't see it unless you're looking...I had kept those scissors away from them in fear this would occur, apparently I didn't wait long enough. Hopefully that chapter is closed.
Old Man Mieszko...when did he get so much gray?!
Our first snow fall. Harry was excited about his "invention", the scooper car. He was quite helpful...
Few days later...our first big snow fall. Living by the lake you just never know. Typically you don't get hit too bad, but when it does...it comes in hard. We went to bed and there was a dusting and woke up to a foot and school closed (which never happens around here). That snow was so heavy, great snowball building material, but awful to shovel.
Thankfully Andy was able to blow the drive way off. The kids loved "helping" on the last swipe..jpg)
Great Grandma Zanders 95 birthday party. The cameras were lit up for the lady of the hour!
Happy Birthday Great Grandma Zander!
Voting day! Harry & Amelia were very excited at the idea of going into a 'booth' with us. They received stickers afterwords and were proud to have them on. Andy did a good job explaining how important it was and we both want to instill in them what a privilege it is and a duty to vote. We made a day out of it.

This is one of my favorites! I have been giving my brother a hard time our whole lives and I feel now...through my kids I have gotten even...a little bit! :) When we were kids, there was this box that I would get under and he then would sit on top and not let me out...Well, I walked into the room and found this. Amelia on top (she still had on her cooking apron) and Harry stuck under. The look on her face was priceless. They had been playing pirates with the laundry baskets and were a bit quite, I now saw why.
So I guess in a way Jeff, we're even now. :)

Luckily, you can't even see it! And, thank goodness it wasn't Nina's beautiful curls...yet!
