A few people at Andy's work took on a few families for Christmas. Buying them what was on their list, so their holiday could be Merry. Andy was to pick up a Thomas movie for a little girl. Amelia saw it and asked what it was, Daddy told her. She then said "Would she want one of my Care Bears?" She ran to her room got one of her blue ones and said "Here she can have this one I have two, she should have it." Needless to say Daddy was speechless, as was I when he told me what she did and said.
In this crazy time of year moments like this really make us stop in our tracks. What a precious little girl.
Harry had a similar moment. A few weeks ago at Mema's house, when leaving he wanted to take a can of corn with us to take to school. I said no, why would he want to do that? He said "because there are families out there that don't have as much as us and we should bring them what we can." Needless to say, he took home quite a few cans and such from Mema's house once we all heard that. (Thanks Mema!) He was so proud at school, their box outside his classroom was not big enough for all he brought. He sure makes us proud!
Hope everyone is enjoying every bit of this hectic holiday season!
