Ahhh, gotta love springtime!

We sure are loving the warmer weather. Trying to get outside more & more, dipping the kids in bug spray. Nina has had a couple big reactions to bug bites, but we are trying to stay on top of it. :) Thank you Uncle Jeffie!!! So. The day that Nina cut her head open, was the same day that one of her favorite necklaces (the orange one), broke. I had emailed my big bro to see what he could do...and a few days later, there they were. It sure was a welcomed reaction to see her so happy!

On a side note...Nina's bandage is finally off! Finally. It was supposed to stay on about a week after the stitches came out, and about 2 weeks later, finally daddy encouraged the last bit off.
Our little fairy house. If you look closely there is a little couch on the outside, so they can rest before they go inside for the night. We all had a good time putting this together. The kids gathered the supplies, I put it together & daddy gathered the bark from the cottonwood tree we had taken down and carved the sign on the top of the house ('welcome fairies'). A 'team Lewis' project.
...and since it was put under the pine tree, the flowers have ironically popped open! Coincidence?! :)

The kids after a long day outside. Enjoying a Sunday night movie.

I had the Moms Cooking Club over the other day. Nina made herself comfortable with the boys, even though there were some girls inside her age, she wanted to hang out with the boys...we're going to have to watch her. :)

Harry has started a Super Sweet activity. He announced last week that he wants to be an author and illustrator. He is on page 6 of his first book and yesterday he finished his second book entitled "Where is my teddy bear?!". His first one is still in the making. Pictures of the second to follow...

Page #2 of Book 1... "The Rain Keeps on Raining". Pictured ~ little guy frowning and the
caption is "it kept on raining".

One of their absolute favorite thing to do...watering. They each have their own watering can.
Apparently, I need to wash the windows...again.

Making cookies with Mema from pie dough...well actually here she is licking her finger that she kept putting in the sugar bowl.

Bubbles at Mema & Papa's.

She still has those 'baby' cheeks.

Nina and the cookies that she made. They are little bunnies. I told her to look at me and she kept giving me her 'cute face'.

Just a funny picture.

I thought this was pretty neat. I was weeding out front a bit. I pulled this tree that had planted itself, and I saw the bottom...there was still the nut attached. A walnut. It was just split in 2 perfect pieces and the tree coming out.
I told Nina to put the worms that she had in her hands in the big pot. She was squeezing the poor little things holding them so tight. Here she is watching them squirm down into the soil.

Daddy explaining why we should let the worms & caterpillars (rollie pollies) go...

Look how tall Harry is at that water table. This is our, I think we are going on the 4th year we've had it...still loving the water.
