Soccer season, has come to an end...

The season seemed to fly. All the kids had a great time. We were the last team left on all the fields, none of the parents wanted to leave. I thought that was a good sign that everyone enjoyed themselves. Fall sign-up is this week, I think Andy will be first in line! :)

Whenever I see these two sitting next to each other they always remind me of an old couple, their bicker often matches the visual as well.

Last game. Last shoulder seat for the season...

Handing out the medals. Mema, Papa, Gma, Gpa & Uncle Brian were all there to watch the last game. We played a pretty rough team, but the ending couldn't have been better. Everyone but 2 of the boys had scored goals this season. One of those boys, really could have cared less. The second boy (of which these two are long time buddies), I think wanted one. They both were excited to be on the field but would never touch the ball. It was as if they froze when it would touch their feet. So, the last game. The last play. All of a sudden there was a break away with the second boy, he ran so fast with the ball to the other goal, we had no idea he had it in him! Right before he got there he ran out of steam, but a player from the other team was running up to stop him and accidentally kicked it in! GOAL! Whistle blew, end of game. The little guy was so excited, he probably is still smiling right now.

After the game we all came back to our house for pie and ice cream. Nina was outside drawing a picture of everyone. I think pictured is her rendition of Gma.
