One of those weeks...
Started off exhausted, and kept on that way.
Harry, came home with his first big black eye from school.
Daddy asked him: "How did you get that, playing cops and robbers?"
Harry: "No Daddy, we were playing police and robbers!"
(might as well put a 'Geeezz' after Harry's answer)
With that, found out Harry in Kindergarten, has been reading second grade level books and can multiply and do some fractions.
Nina. She had the stomach flu earlier this week (contributing to that exhausted thing), she "pet a moth" he was "cute and gray" (she was super excited about that), and has been finding more and more "cute bugs" under rocks outside our house.
We also made our own shirts, Nina and me, for soccer. She has been having a really hard time just watching Harry, she wants to play - "I want to be the bestest soccer player ever!" We took pink shirts and ironed on a butterfly and our nick names. I figured we'd be the butterflies and silly me she corrected me, we're the bug team!
On my end, I forgot her snack day this week, the first time in all three years the kids had/have gone to preschool (felt like an enormous shoe!), then found out that Amelia was supposed to be bringing a doll to ballet for the past few weeks for a dance they are doing in their recital. Apparently that information was given out the one day that Nina has missed. Of course.
Rockin' the shoe feeling all week!
Daddy, thankfully has been rockin' a cleaning streak all week. Thank you daddy!
Looks like rain today for Harry's game, they'll play, but probably no pictures again.
The charging cord for the laptop (where I download all my pictures) broke. New one should be here on Monday.
I don't bite my nails, but maybe I will start. :)
Hope your week has been a happy colorful one where you are!
