Madness to Mulch...

Madness to mulch, a bit like lemonade out of lemons. Andy and I were talking the other day about needing to get mulch for our yard, we didn't think that it would be this much of a production. We were more thinking of ordering some, but this I guess is just as good, as Harry says, "reduce re-use recycle". He was excited that the tree will live on as mulch.
And as for the car. Gotta give it to the German engineering of this car, it will be fixed. We should have it back in about 2-3 weeks.
There is his car in there...The tree fell exactly on the fairy house. It was found in pieces, but the little couch was not...

It looks like the tree aimed for the car.

Harry really enjoyed the action. Nina, well she would rather be inside to watch her movie, Mulan.

Finally off.

There goes the car, looks quite good right?! With the force that the tree came down and where it was laying on the car it truly is amazing the amount of damage done. A lot of it was the water that got in the car from all the rain.Here comes the mulch.

The first two hosta's were rescued from the bottom of the tree. They had already been split and planted under that tree this spring, they weren't too happy about being moved again. The third hosta is call guacamole, Andy got it for fathers day on the way back from camping.

As you can see, we used some mulch around the bottom of them, so they felt at home. :)
