Good Morning Sunshine!

This morning we adventured out to the beach...early. We were there just before 9am. It was quite a feat for me, with bringing all of our things and the kids...I'll take the afternoon to rest.

I am taking some senior photos on Saturday morning, so I wanted to scope out the best spots before then. Harry & Nina, were not too interested about that idea. They were waiting very impatiently to get to the water. I took a few shots, which of course is what's below, then we ran into a friend.

The best part of running into our friends, was playing of course, but sanity. They are having the same power struggle with their children too. As did I hear at least 3 other mothers mouthing the same words to their adventurous, non-listening little ones on the beach. I heard, "we have not even been her 20 minutes yet, do we need to leave?!" a few times! :) We're not alone!

On the way back I was not feeling well at all. The kids were troopers in helping get everything back to the car, then, Ugh...Nina fell down the last about 7 steps. What an awful feeling watching with an arm full of stuff not being able to catch her. She is fine. She's a tuff one, that Nina!

They can see it...if only they could be in the water at that moment!

We had gotten there so early, the tractor that rakes the sand was just finishing up. I didn't even know they did that!

Of course. Some crying. Every moment with Harry I had, there were no pictures of that...He just doesn't listen right now.

They loved the fact that I let them get in the water in their clothes...what the did not like was having to take off the said wet clothes, always tricky getting wet jeans off.

Taking the toys to meet up with our friends. I was only planning on breakfast at the beach, not lunch. Everyone had a good time, and their stomachs were fine till we got home for some PBJ's!

Grace & Ben's dad is the head of the Coast Guard in St. Joe. They can be found at the beach often. :) Ben was in Harry's class last year.

I wonder whose pics you are taking? :)

My dad used to do the beach raking...when he worked there last summer!
