Last minute run to the Fair

After dinner we decided to go and head on out to the fair. Looking back, we did the same thing last year. A late night, but worth it. Harry & Amelia had a blast...so did we. Amazingly, I did not take one picture. Andy had the camera the whole time, what a weird feeling.

And as another big moment, I wore pants for the first time in almost 5 weeks. That did not go so well, and I was quite spent by about 1/4 of the way through, but the kids were enjoying themselves so much. Gonna have to figure this dressing thing out, we are supposed to go camping this weekend. :)

This is one of my favorite horses. I LOVE draft horses, always have, and would really like to have one some day. This is my favorite kind, a Percheron. They are a very gentle breed. This was 'draft horse fun night'. Which makes me laugh, not sure how much fun it is for the horses. This particular horse had a thing for the mud, it was as if you could see the little kid in him while he was running, inching over so he could splash in the mud.
This Clydesdale's name was Andy. :)

Nina was very impressed with this horse. It was a size she liked, much less the girl had on a bright pink helmet and blanket on the horse!!

It was funny to me how much Amelia liked the horses. I know that I have always loved them, but to see her on her own (really, on her own), want to see and pet every single one. That warmed my heart...probably not our pocket book someday, but our hearts.

We were watching the horses get their baths.

Petting a duck.

Such funny pictures of her with cotton candy. It was almost as if she was surprised we were letting her eat it.

Harry's new dream vehicle. I told him to talk to Gpa!

Nothing like ending the night with some greasy, cheesy fries.

Cotton Candy kickin' in.

Funny. 'Hey there little man!'
