I'm on hard-core Mama duty.
Even through the green junk, fevers, and cranky-tears...we still have managed to have a little fun. Harry missed a field trip yesterday, so we had a scavenger hunt here instead. I made a few different charts, laminated them (with my new laminator I got for Christmas, thanks Gma & Gpa!), and they were off. Nina laid down after the first one and told Harry the second hunt he was on his own. She had to rest. She was in for the third adventure.
It sure is exhausting. Exhausted worrying about my babies.
And I tell you. I am not looking forward to getting this one. If I had any doubt that it was coming my way, those doubts were changed yesterday. During Harry's fever, I was doing the every few hours saline spray. Before I had a good handle on the tissue, he blew, and all over me it went. Up my nose, eyes, and I'm sure mouth. Those little germs I can feel, are unpacking and making themselves, as my grandma would say, "to home".
We are supposed to leave for Florida next week. Which I am sure is when I will come down with this, hopefully by myself, without Andy. Oh what a trip that would be.
Harry made this adorable headband for Nina, it's called a "google head". He just decided yesterday morning to make it for her, all on his own.Poor kiddo's. They're wiped.
