A Special Treat

Visitor Day. There are only two a year. Nina and I were excited. This day was extra special. Not only were the parents able to sit inside and watch, the costumes were handed out to be tried on! A treat indeed.

Amazingly. Or maybe not so amazingly, I took a whole lot of pictures. I know, I know, that's not amazing. It was, because I video taped pretty much the whole thing. Daddy was supposed to come, but at the last minute he had a meeting he couldn't miss. One of his large projects is about to be delivered. So he has been working long hours and has had a not so flexible schedule, trying to get everyone in line. Therefore, I taped it so he would not miss a thing.

Somehow, I still managed to get a lot of shots. I must have looked nuts, going back and forth between camera and video camera. Got it though! All part of my 'Mama badge'. :)

The Costume! Oh, how she did not want to have this on. It had been in a plastic bag and was very cold. And, lets face it, anyone that has been in ballet or dance before knows, the majority of the time, the costumes are never comfy.

Some fine tuning of the fit, will need to be done.

Can't wait. The recital is in June.
