Ted E. Bear

We had a wonderful visit from Ted E. Bear last week. He lives at school and each day a different child gets to take him home, show him what life is like for you, and then write about it (well, the parents, write and put pictures together in a one page print out) to share with the other students at school.

Ted E. Bear was a big celebrity for us last week. Harry had so been looking forward to his opportunity to bring him home. We didn't take him on any grand adventures, but he got a taste of what it is like around here on a day to day basis. We also had the folder home of the other places Ted has gone, a bit of work for the parents, I say! :) It's cute.

Welcome Ted! We were instructed, per Harry, that Ted does not get along well with dogs or cats and to keep them far away. :)

Peanut butter & honey sandwiches for lunch. Ted, straight-up honey if you please.

Wagon ride.

Nap time for Ted.

Lego time, working on Harry's enormous train invention.

Tea time before bed, a special treat, Mema stopped by!

Story time, Harry's library book from school, his favorite series, The Magic School bus.

(On a side note. Spoke with Harry's teacher last week and she commented on Harry in the library. The librarian was so surprised when he walked up to her to find out how to use the card catalog. She said he's in Kindergarten! She would have to spend a little more time with him. He knows what he wants.) :)

Good Night Ted E. Bear! Thanks for a great visit!
