A BIG Thank you...

Thank you to my incredible, amazing, fabulous family. I have been very sick the past couple weeks. For a few days I could not make it out of bed. Mema & Papa jumped to help and watched the kids and took Nina to ballet etc. Gma & Gpa were all ready to come and help as well, but half the reason I was sick was the flu and with their hearts, I didn't want to chance it, so I told Andy to call them off.

The second part of me being sick is what I am having surgery to hopefully take care of...it is supposed to be the 19th of November, but my doctor had an accident some weeks ago and her Dr. is not sure if she will be able to operate then. I have already had the surgery rescheduled once...I really need to have this done. I cannot continue like this. So if you could keep me in your prayers, that the surgery will come soon, speedy recovery and a good outcome. I would greatly appreciate it. I am feeling desperate. I hate being like this, especially around my kids. I want to be a Mama. The Mama that I want to be and I know I could be...if the pain wasn't so bad. :(

So, I just wanted to send out a heart felt thank you to my family. It was my birthday on Saturday. No cake or dinner, couldn't stomach it or physically go anywhere, but my loving family did what they could. I'm feeling a bit better now. Hopefully that will stick around for a while. I am a little behind on a couple posts I wanted to make. Hopefully those will be up soon. :)

I guess maybe this was just a 'test run' for the help that will be needed after the surgery?! Well done I have to say, we are ready!


Mema had brought some sweet treats for the kids. Andy stuck a candle in one so I at least had something to blow out on my birthday. Very sweet of him.

Andy ended up making tea night out of it. We have been having tea each night before bed. Very calming, the kids love it. It's a special time that we all cherish.
