Ice Festival

**Happy Valentines Day!**
(hope everyone had a great day! I decorated the kids spots at the kitchen table with all sorts of 'love' goodies, and had a warm breakfast that daddy & kids prepared. I napped the day away, trying to kick the yuckies, and the kids had a blast playing games with daddy).

We ventured out to the Ice Festival yesterday. Thought I was feeling better, but nope. What a flu this is...So we basically went from one end to the other and headed home for hot cocoa. It sure was co-old! The wind off the lake takes your breath away. This was one of our favorites. So neat, the abominable snow man inside the block of ice. The man that created it was just cleaning up when we got there. He said they used snow to fill the ice to get him in there. Cool.

Harry had no idea who the little girl in purple was, but he sure was chatting up a storm with her. Telling her about all the sculptures we had seen already...wonder where he gets that from?! ;)

Kickin' her leg warmers. What have I done? She insists on wearing them...could be worse right.

They all looked so cute walking back to the van.
It was a fast, very cold tour of the festival, but worth getting out for a little family time. Makes the hot cocoa that much yummier.
