Proud Mama

Picked up Harry from school today.
An everyday conversation is had about his things. Do you have your hat, gloves, folder, book to read for the night. (have had to turn around and go back for the book and folder a few times, thankfully we live just down the street...have learned to check things before we leave the school.)
Yesterday, he left his hat next to a snowman outside during recess.

When getting in the van he announced that he had his hat. Even though he didn't wear one for recess. (it being very very cold today, lake effect winds are piercing, I asked surprised and not too happy...)
"Why not?! Weren't you cold?"
Harry: "Adrianna forgot her hat in her bag so I took mine off so she could wear one. When we got back inside she gave it back to me. See, I brought it home."

**Proud Mama**

Then he went on to tell me that I should make her a hat just in case she forgets it again.
I told him that I didn't have any more fabric right now to make one.
He then said that's okay, I can knit one, make it all different colors...

What a sweet thing to do.
