Valentine Surprise

I have been trying to get over the longest run of a flu that I have ever had. Just starting to feel better after 7 full days. Now. Woke up this morning with pink eye. Sigh.
Yesterday. The kids and I really wanted to do something special for Daddy. We baked a cookie in the shape of a heart and frosted it for him. The kids did really good, measuring, reading the recipe and frosting. I wrote the words but they did they rest.
When Daddy walked in the door we surprised him with it, and to my surprise, he was really surprised and was very touched...hence the picture. He kept us in this position until he could take our pictures. :)
We went from wanting Daddy to feel special, to him making us feel special.

Who says you need to buy something for Valentines Day?
