Let it snow!

We have here a winter wonderland of sorts. Last night we went sledding. When I mean night, it was dark (used the lights out back to see). When I say we, this time that means me included! Once only, but I did. Not clear from the doctor until Monday, when I have my next appointment, but I couldn't resist.
It was snowing heavy before bed. Andy had to shovel a path out the back door for Mieszko to go potty. We woke up to over a foot of new snow. It has been snowing all day and is not supposed to stop until late Sunday night. Gotta love lake effect snow!

Today, Andy went out front to snow blow the driveway so we could get out if need be. I took some pictures from inside as I usually do. But this time. I decided after a couple shots. Nope. Going outside to join in the fun! I helped Nina hunt for icicles, shoveled a little (truly a little, that one I know I'm not allowed to do) with Harry, then decided to go back in, get my camera and grab a few more shots, outside.

It felt great. Andy looked over at me and said, "Who are you?! Outside two days in a row, and down in the snow with the kids?!".

Here are a few from this afternoon. I have a bunch more that I will put up along with the many I still need to go through from Christmas, the day before, day of and after...so many to choose from.

Andy grabbed the camera and snapped a quick one of me. Not the greatest shot, but there I was, outside, and with pants on (first time)! Well yes, of course I don't leave the house without something on, but I have been unable to wear anything but dresses since a couple months before surgery (which has been tricky during these very cold months). I'm easing into 'normal' life again!
