Our little Nina

Now on to a little Nina. Both Harry and Nina had their Christmas parties on the same day, just down the hall from one another. With me being sub-par to fully participate in the parties, my wonderful husband took the day off to help out at school, so I could at least go.
We had a great time, it was nice for Andy to be a part of the celebration, to see what it's like. I even roped him into playing guitar for the kiddo's. They loved it. Funny story. Another dad in class has been coming and playing about once a week. He stopped by but had business to attend to so could not stay, but he managed to come right when Andy was starting up. Come to find out he used to tour with the Bare Naked Ladies. He said to Andy that next party they could play together. Andy got a kick out of it.

Nina waiting her turn to play the game.

I channeled my creative genes and came up with some circles that I had made out of basket weaving material and I covered them in tinsel. We had a folding metal Christmas tree, voila, a game. I made another one, but since I don't have a picture up of it, I will spare you the details. :)

Checking out some of the goodies.

Rosanna's son Ethan is in Nina's class. She's Nina's godmother as well. First pic that I have remembered to take of the two of them together since she was born.

That is Amelia's buddy in class, Maddie...her daddy is the guitarist, and come to find out, her Mama makes a mean pot of soup. They sent it right when I came home from the hospital, so nice of them.

This was so exciting. Nina is not a doll girl. She has had this great doll house for quite some time and it has only been a storing area for her things, lizards, caterpillars and some doll furniture. I walked in the room and found this set up. Dolls having cake. Adorable.
Daddy said, "Oh, Nina they're having tea?". To which Nina responded with, "NO, Daddy!, They are eating Cake!". She might as well have added to the end of that, Geeze daddy!...
On her 'camera phone'. To who? Not sure. And no. I don't take pictures on mine. And no, I am rarely on mine, usually I can't find it and when I do, it doesn't have any charge. Must be taking after daddy. :)

Taking 'pictures'. She will run around and say, "Mama, I'm gonna take a picture of you, say CHEESE!". The Tinkerbell phone makes, I guess, a picture making sound, and she is happy. Harry has been very upset about this at times. "I DON'T want my picture TAKEN!!" We then remind him to humor her. :)
(Oh. And excuse the boxes in the background. I was collecting our Christmas orders at the front door. Not being able to go out, I did most of my shopping right here. The drivers were kind enough to put them inside for me.)
